Container and small tank agitators for fluid processes
Mamec’s modular container agitators are developed especially for mixing liquids in transport containers. Highly adaptable, they’re also suitable as agitators for open tanks and canisters, where they can be equipped with a rim clamp, mounting plate or mounting bridge.
Container agitators are available in fixed or dismountable models, which offer unique advantages for mixing certain liquids and objects. The mixing element can be in each container or tank, and the motor is mounted on the container to be mixed with a quick coupling.
A durable and modifiable structure
Container agitators are simple, durable and long-lasting. The agitators are easy to fasten from the bearing housing to the container with a 2-inch outer thread without any accessories – or they can be attached to a manhole cover using two nuts.
Mixing elements can be conveniently adjusted to any position along the shaft using a conical nut. Several different mixing elements can be mounted on the same shaft in freely selectable positions.
The agitators are delivered equipped with flanged motors according to IEC standards, gear motors, air motors or hydraulic motors. You can also order the agitator in your preferred ATEX version with non-standard voltage.
- The drive shaft, bearing housing and all parts in contact with liquid are made of acid-resistant EN 1.4404 steel. We also customize agitators from other special austenitic materials.
- The bearing housing has two grooved ball bearings, a separate inner shaft and a flexible coupling.
- The bearing is protected by a radial shaft seal on the fluid side.
Testing, quality and documentation
Each agitator is balanced and undergoes a final inspection and test run in our factory before delivery. We comply with the ISO 9000 quality system.
