The structure of side entry agitators offer advantages over conventional solutions. Special attention to detail has been paid to the specific requirements of their application, their serviceability, and compatibility with factory standards – which also ensures the reliability and longevity of the agitators. The agitator consists of carefully selected concentric parts, and all components are bolted and screwed together. This ensures economic efficiency and exceptional operational reliability.
- The distance between the propeller and tank wall has been optimized, with sufficient distance between them to ensure the best possible mixing result.
- The agitator body’s strong, conical structure reduces turbulence and allows for high efficiency.
- The spiral propeller blades improve energy and operational efficiency.
- The agitator body’s flow controller saves energy and minimizes spiral rotation of the mixing substance.
- The agitator propeller’s large diameter ensures a good mixing result in relation to the power used.
- The energy-saving flow controller reduces the vortex effect.
- A coupling allows the gear unit to be dismounted by emptying the tank.
- The electric motor is available either integrated into the gear unit or via an IEC connection.
- Condition monitoring equipment, a seal water control unit and support legs are available if needed.
- Either a gear unit or integrated geared motor can be chosen according to factory standards.
Applications
The pulp and paper industry, biodiesel plants, various slurry and fiber-based pulping processes, and green and black liquor mixing.
