Top entry agitators made to order
Mamec’s top entry agitators are always custom manufactured to meet the most demanding criteria in wastewater treatment plants, biogas plants and other process industry applications. They range in size from small IBC container-mounted units to solutions almost 30 meters long with a mixing chamber diameter of more than 10 meters. Power categories range from 0.18 kW to over 300 kW.
Each part of these agitators is the result of careful product development, manufacturing and testing. Each agitator is equipped with the most suitable mixing element for the customer’s process. All widely known mixing elements are available, including blades, propellers, dispersion discs, turbines, coils, spirals and other special designs.
Individual customization and freedom of choice
During the design phase, we determine the agitator’s power, load factor and dynamic strength required for your process. The drive unit can be a direct electric motor, gear or v-belt drive – even an air or hydraulic drive. Seal options include lip, labyrinth, packing, single and double acting mechanical seals and water seals.
The height of the agitator blade is freely adjustable. Depending on the requirements of your application, we can include, e.g., oil traps, mechanical seals and packing seals. For long shaft solutions, it’s often economical to use a separate support bearing.
On delivery, we’ll optimize the entire mixing system for deployment, including all installations and adjustments. To optimize the mixing process, we use computational fluid dynamics modelling where necessary. Our service also includes a mixing guarantee and, if needed, equipment-specific expert assistance to manage the mixing process.
