Mixing is a key process step in the production of biogas, for example, which is increasingly used for heating, electricity generation and transport fuel. Our biogas production process is based on managing delicate fermentation processes and controlled mixing of the organic pulp. It helps achieve the correct slurry flow and even temperature distribution, which expedites the fermentation process without destroying bacteria. To ensure control of the mixing process, we model the sludge holding tank’s slurry mass flows to support mixing adjustment and control. This results in a stable and energy-efficient fermentation process and optimal biogas supply.
